Integrated Microbiological Filtration System

Microlab offer Integrated Microbiological Filtration System uses a diaphragm pump imported from the UK, eliminating the need for a filtration flask. The liquid is discharged directly through the diaphragm pump, avoiding slow filtration speed caused by poor connection and saving operating space. Our system offered with 3 filtration units and 6 filtration units. And the filtration units can be changed to match 47mm and 56mm Filter monitors.

    Operating principle and steps

    Add the test sample into the Filter monitors, and filter it with the built-in pump of the system. The microorganisms in the test sample are retained on the membrane filter. After the sample filtration step, the membrane is usually transferred to agar media for cultivation. Alternatively, if using our filter monitors, liquid media can be added from the top, so there is no need to transfer the membrane. Simply remove the funnel, whereby the unit converts into a Petri dish, ready for incubation
