Microbiological Testing Individual Packed Membrane Filter

Microlab offer Microbiological Testing Membrane Filter is also named Microbiological limit detection membrane.  
The membrane media are mainly mixed cellulose (MCE), cellulose nitrate (CN) and polyethersulfone (PES)with grid or plate. The different pore sizes were used to enrich designated bacteria for culture, mainly for the total count of mold and yeast.

    How to choose right membrane?

    Step 1, choose the right color

    White gridded disks are designed for General Purpose Examination of all Microorganisms, the recovery and retention of E. Colibacteria in water/waste water analysis as well as other microbiologicaltests.

    Black gridded disks to assist in manual counting procedures,analysis of yeast and mold and Legionella sp. Examination of White, beigecolonies. Providing contrast between residue or cell colors and the filter without having to counter-stain the membrane.

    How to Use the Membrane Filter?

    Using sterile forceps, peel back the film and separate the paper from the membrane. Remove the membrane with the forceps.

    Place the membrane and white paper on a wet filtration support. When wet, the blue paper curls enabling you to easily remove it using forceps.
